Future Generations

The Future Generations project delivers interactive presentations at the college level to students enrolled in agricultural programs. These sessions explore the collaborative supply chain approach and the dynamics of collaboration among the various actors in the agricultural sector.

OBJECTIVES

Through these presentations, students are invited to:

  1. Understand why it is necessary to rethink our agricultural systems
  2. Define what a supply chain is and identify its key actors
  3. Explore how these actors collaborate with one another, using concrete examples in agriculture (fruit and vegetable crops, field crops, etc.)
  4. Understand the role agronomists play to support producers in adopting sustainable practices
  5. Reflect on the structuring of a fictional collaborative supply chain project

This project is funded by TD Friends of the Environment Foundation and carried out in collaboration with Groupe ProConseil.
